Hundred Thousand Feet…for a Smile

The red blood on the white snow…

…made for an eerie sight. Drip, drip, drip. I could feel the blood dripping from my mouth. Red droplets turning pink as they spread in the snow.

I had smashed myself in the mouth while skiing with my kids. In spite of the blood, I was actually mostly in one piece. But my front tooth was a whole other story.

Losing My Smile (for a few days)

For the next few days, I stopped smiling. As I didn’t want to show my broken tooth.

But it was more than that.

I felt less confident. I didn’t really mingle with my friends or colleagues. I preferred to eat lunch alone.
I almost became a different person.

While my smile was restored just a few days later. There are those who have been robbed of their smile for a lifetime…unless you and I help.

Only You Can Help

GET A CHILD HER SMILE BACK

Hundred Thousand Feet…

This year, I will be hiking through the year with a goal to climb 100,000 feet (in elevation gain) and donate $1,000 (for 5 smiles 😃)
If you like, you can also join me in this cause.

It takes as little as $240 and as few as 45 minutes to provide life-changing surgery
and a bright, beautiful new smile to a waiting child.

Every penny counts and brings a child closer to a smile.

Act now, and you not only restore a smile for a child,
you also restore confidence and hope in their hearts.
